The age of the jet ski and its current hours affects resell value, and with this calculator, you can determine if the hours on a jet ski is considered low, normal or high.
- Low – The jet ski hours are under 30 hours a year.
- Normal – The jet ski hours are between 30 and 40 hours a year, which is average.
- High – The hours are over 40 hours a year, they drove the jet ski more than most people.
Knowing where the hours fall for a jet ski can help with negotiations or knowing where to price your own jet ski.
Note: A high hour or low hour jet ski is not always a bad thing. What matters more is how well the jet ski was taken care of, as covered in my article here. This calculator is to give you an idea and a starting pointing in figuring out a jet ski’s value, it’s not the only thing you need to consider.
